How do I register for football or cheer?
Registration for the 2026 Stafford Bulldogs football and cheer season is open. Use the Registration page to choose the appropriate program and complete registration online. Click Here To Register!
Which team should my child register for?
For 2026, the program listings are organized by grade: A Team: grades 7–8; B Team: grades 5–6; C Team: grades 3–4; Mighty Mites: grades 1–2; Flag Football and Flag Cheer: Pre-K and Kindergarten.
How much does registration cost?
The current 2026 registration listings show A-Team Football and Cheer at $0; B-Team, C-Team, and Mighty Mites Football at $175; B-Team, C-Team, and Mighty Mites Cheer at $150; and Flag Football and Flag Cheer at $60. Always check the Registration page for the current amount before completing registration.
Do you offer flag football and flag cheer?
Yes. Fall Flag Football and Fall Flag Football Cheer are available for Pre-K and Kindergarten.
How do volunteer hours work?
Sign up for the following tasks to cover volunteer hours.
– Food booth is 2 hour time slot
– Snack is 1/2 hour time slot
– Parking is 1 hour slot
– Play Counter is 1 hour slot
– Game filming is a 1 hour slot
– Chains count for 1 hour
– 50/50 is 1 hour slot (Cheer Parents)
Can kids from surrounding towns play?
Yes, Stafford Bulldogs Football and Cheer is open to all surrounding towns: Somers, Ellington, Union, Ashford, Willington, and Mansfield. If you live nearby and are interested, contact us.
PRACTICES & EQUIPMENT
Where are practices held?
Practices are held at Olympic Field, 23 Olympic Ave, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
Is football and cheer equipment provided?
Paid registration includes program equipment, with a few exceptions. Football families provide cleats and an athletic supporter. Cheer families provide practice sneakers and competition shoes.
What should my child bring to practice?
Every football player and cheerleader should bring a drink or water bottle to each practice. Families should also make sure athletes arrive with proper footwear:
Football – Cleats (no metal spikes)
Cheer – Practice shoes
Football players must also wear the required athletic supporters.
